Champ was always such a happy dog – his tail went crazy when either of us returned home. He started having trouble about a month ago with breathing. On Saturday, March 21, 2015, he began having extended trouble breathing and we could tell that he was in trouble. And his tail was tucked between his legs. We didn’t sleep Saturday night, praying that he would improve or at least get some rest. By 6:30 AM we knew that we had to give him rest. Within an hour of our calling, Dr. Amber was there and agreed with our assessment. Champ went to sleep easily and is now resting. We want to thank Dr. Amber for her caring and empathy. Though we will miss him for the rest of our lives, we know that he was grateful for a peaceful passing at home with those who loved him.
